Passion planner

A month ago I sat down in this very same cafe in the center of Lugano to write my previous post and let me tell you that between then and now has probably been the most stressful time of my life. Playoffs, applying to schools, missing home, summer jobs, apartment hunting... It has been intense, way more so than I expected my last weeks here to be.

The thing I have been struggling the most is living in the moment and taking time to relax. It has felt like I've had to be in a million places at once and do a million things at a time. I let myself be spread too thin and by doing that, I never managed to be present in anything at all (atleast not 100%). After the ever thinning cord that was holding things together snapped I realized I had to stop and be there for myself instead of everyone and everything else. Picking my battles so to say.

I've never been a calender kind of girl (always start, never finish) but I decided to giveit a go. For the upcoming summer, I'll be trying out the Passion Planner. It stood out from all the other planners with it's simple, goal-orientated structure that stayed true to a regular appointment calender. The monthly and weekly sections are well laid out and you can choose between a yearly, academic or undated planner. Monthly and yearly reflections offer an opportunity to look back on everything you've accomplished and the well-instructed Passion Plan -mindmap section provides you with tools to accomplish your goals. There are many ways to utilize and customize your planner and I will be sharing how I use mine, once I have gotten a little further into my planner.

The best part though, trying the planner out is completely free! You can print out your free downloads here and glue them to any old notebook or use as is. If planning is not for you, you'll be happy to have saved the extra cash and if it is, you'll feel much more secure in your purchase. I love this system and so far, have been really happy with my planner and the way it has helped me get past this stressful time. Not to mention the motivational quotes:

"Don't let yesterday use up too much of today." -Cherokee proverb
